COVID – 19 Notice

As a community at risk we need to be pro active to keep yourselves and your neighbors safe.
Alberta Health has stressed Social Distancing – if you feel ill stay in your apartment – sniffles, cough, sneezes, fever

Call 811 for direction – explain your situation

If you don’t feel ill follow the following pre cautions:

  • Wash your hands for at least 20 second with hot water before you rinse.
  • Do not touch your face with unwashed or dirty hands.
  • Refrain from touching or hugging each other.
  • Maintain a 1 to 2 meter – 3 and a half to 6 and a half feet distance from each other
  • Cover coughs and sneezes preferable with your arm at the elbow – wash your hands immediately.
  • Avoid gathering in groups
  • Carry on with your life using these precautions – go get your groceries, go for your walk etc.
  • Self Isolation – you decide – if you feel ill stay in your apartment and call 811

Call the Bow Centre office if you need assistance calling 811

Call 911 only if it’s an emergency – they will not appreciate being called for something minor.

IF The Building is Quarantined

  • We will follow the protocols outlined by Alberta Health
  • Do not leave your apartment unless it is an emergency
  • No visitors to your home
  • No public transportation
  • No outside people will be allowed in the building except for emergencies
  • Drop off is allowed at the front door but do not open the door while delivery person is there.

Any one required to be under quarantined under the direction of Alberta Health is being offered a Calgary Co–op Care Package. Contact Member Engagement at Calgarycoop.com and indicate the start and end of quarantine and the closest Coop store.

Alberta Health has mandated the closure of all schools colleges and child care facilities effective today

It is recommended that people refrain from going to religious gatherings but contact your church officials for their advice.

The City of Calgary has closed all Rec-Centers, swimming pools, YMCAs etc.
